This is Cyclone time in Chennai. This time, the guest is Nisha. Cyclone Nisha has just hit the coast between Vedaranyam and Nagapattinam, today noon. Including Chennai, all other coastal cities have been warned of Nisha. Already, the rain is pouring heavily in Chennai for the last two consecutive days. A news source claims that the ceaseless rain has claimed more than 30 lives in last two days and 3500 people have been moved to safer places so far. Schools and Colleges in Chennai had already declared today as holiday. The city life has been totally disturbed.

The speed of the wind is expected to be nearly 70 Kmph. (This is the only season, Chennaites can enjoy free wind flow ) However, Chennaites are quite familiar with Cyclones
