- The Train: Vasco Express runs from Bangalore Yeshwantpur junction to Vasco junction (Goa). The train runs bi-weekly, and we caught it on Tuesday (24th dec 2008). The same train runs on Saturday also.
- The Konkan Railway: Actually, you need to travel in the same train on Saturday which runs on different timing. Because, you will get a chance to see the scenic Konkan railway and the water falls near Castel Rock. (Check out the picture here.) If you are still young, you can yell out loudly while the train passes through more than 10 caves in the Konkan railway.

(this photo was not shot by us, we shot the rest of the photos in this article)
- Goan People: Goan people seem to be very friendly. Their culture is bit different from that of rest of Indians. In the train, we traveled with a Goan native family. When asked about this, they said their lifestyle is close to western since their descendent are Portuguese!
- Calangute Beach: This is where we stayed at. A beach, with full of foreign tourist crowd. Calangute area is highly expensive and it’s very much commercial too.
- Swimming Pool: Our hotel had a swimming pool. Take a wild guess, how many times we could have jumped into it!

Resort, where we stayed
- Baga Beach: We went wild with water games; we tried water scooter and water ducking! If I were rich enough, I would have bought a water scooter right there. Because, the ride was so exciting and thrilling.

- 9Bar and Curleys: How interesting it would be, if you go to Goa with people who never smelled drinks? Yes, all four in our gang were non-drinkers. And, you know Goa is the place where even medical shops will have wine bottles stacked in front line of the stores.
- We actually planned to go to Panjim city, but the resort owner only advised us to go and visit at 9Bar and Curleys (which are famous bars for DJs and night parties). We questioned ourselves several time what we could do there, but decided to visit there single mindedly!
- NineBar (a.k.a 9 Bar) is located in Vagator Beach. We rode our bikes all the way to Vagator just to drink two bottles of 7up in NineBar
Atleast, Ravi was happy that he enjoyed the beautiful view of Vagator Beach from NineBar. (He also said, he would buy a resort like 9bar, if he were rich enough!)
- We reached NineBar much earlier in the evening and saw no body there except a Swiss tourist. The tourist said he was a Professor and was writing a book about Churches in Goa.
- We decided to checkout Curley’s then. We had to again ride back to Anjuna beach. We reached Curley’s after taking almost hundreds of left and right turns.
- St. Francis Xavier Church: A must-visit-place, no matter whatever the religion you belong to. This church is located in Old Goa (10 km away from Panjim city). The body of Fnacis Xavier, who died in 16th century, is still kept fresh in the Church. A museum located nearby this church displays all legacy proofs of Portuguese rule in Goa.

St Francis Xavier Church - Prayer Hall.

Body of Francis Xavier kept in this box from 16th century.
- The Beautiful Panjim City: We roamed around the city like street dogs. The Panjim city was really super clean, we spent our time and money in shopping at 18th June road.
- A Coffee is costlier than a beer: I drink coffees and teas nearly 10 times a day. Calangute was a place wherein you can get a beer bottle for 30 R.s, but a coffee for anything not less than 40 R.s! I was almost exhausted in searching for a coffee shop. You could find only Coffee Days and Barista. I dragged Ravi all the way to Coffee Day several times in the cold mid nights.
- Arambol: A nice village beach. Arambol is 35 kilometers away from Calangute. But, we really enjoyed driving ourselves over the beautiful road to Arambol. The place attracts huge foreign tourists who stay there for weeks and months. This time we saw some tourists flying in parachutes across the hills in Arambol.

How nice it should be to fly over the beach?!
- Sinquerim Beach: Located after few kilometer drive from Calangute. If you are driving on the road from Calangute to Sinquerim, do not miss to see the Vijay Mallaya’s house appearing on your right hand side
. Sinquerim Beach was looking scenic and very natural.

Scenic look of Sinquerim Beach
- Nescafe @ Calangute Beach: I couldn’t forget the cold Christmas midnight when we sat and chit-chatted for hours with Nescafe in the Calangute Beach! How nice it would be to sit on the beach with your friends, with old memories and with a cup of coffee?
Somehow, we left Goa after spending 4 nice days there. But, sometimes the heart recalls the Resort… Nescafe at Calangute beach… beautiful Panjim city…Baga beach…

If you are in the corner and have no cash to move out from that, you will have to take the loans. Just because that should help you definitely. I get collateral loan every year and feel good because of it.
